Simona is a mom of three in Westport, who loves nothing more than Friday night beach sunsets followed by ice cream at Saugatuck Sweets. She has managed to get her kids to eat fish by convincing them it’s “chicken-fish” and swears by Biologique Recherche Toner. What some may not know is Simona is 100% Russian, and went to the high school where the movie “FAME” was filmed! After years doing fashion and beauty PR, she decided to channel her creative energy and passion for design into her own entrepreneurial venture post-kids, and founded Winding Lane Design, where she is dedicated to keeping each project it’s own and thinking outside the box. Simona is creative, kind and authentic, a winning combination.

If authenticity, passion, and humor are three qualities you value in a person – and friend – Sara Deren is a superstar not to be missed. In addition to being a Westport mom of 3, owner of two sleep-away camps in Maine, Manitou (for boys) and Camp Somerset (for girls), Sara runs Experience Camps, an incredible non-profit which provides a FREE sleep-away camp experience to children who have lost a parent or sibling. In her spare time, she loves bike rides at Sherwood Island, donuts, and swears by the Hair Genies Peppermint hair spray! After being laid off from her job in Finance 9 months pregnant with her first, life gave her the chance to find the “superpower” she believes everyone has and often just needs to find, and led her down the path where she is today.
