Meet Karen!
An inspirational mom of 3, Karen somehow does it all. Though she claims she couldn’t run 400m in high school to save her life, she has completed 10 marathons and countless halves, and teaches one of the area’s most challenging workout classes- CST (Cardio, Strengthen, Transform). In her spare time, Karen wakes up – often at 430ish-am – to get a run in before the day, is the King’s Highway PTA president, and can be found at Compo Beach or the Spotted Horse eating the spoon salad (every time)!

Hoping to be the community’s “go-to family restaurant where everyone knows your name”, The Port will feel local, be staffed by locals, and is funded by locals. The menu will offer comfort food at reasonable prices, appealing to adults and kids alike, and the scene will be casual, and a place you never want to leave. We all have wondered for years why this type of place doesn’t exist here – finally, some locals got it right!

Mom to 3, Amy and her husband Larry created and built the business for Zyta-C based on their own positive experience with the product (i.e., no colds in 5 years!). When she’s not working, Amy loves taking her kids to Mecha Noodle Bar (followed by a trip to MilkCraft), nights at Compo Beach, and laughing with her friends.
