Mom to 3 and truly one of the nicest people you may ever meet, Amy is a Child Neuropsychologist (basically she’s super smart!), and followed her passion for kids and science which brought her to where she is now. A self-proclaimed “dork” at heart, Amy loves school, Bar Taco, skiing, sailing, and anything she can do with her incredible family. Some fun facts – she hates socks, wearing her hair down, and can double at Soul Cycle and not seem tired after at all. She is a rockstar- in every way.

Meet Karen!
An inspirational mom of 3, Karen somehow does it all. Though she claims she couldn’t run 400m in high school to save her life, she has completed 10 marathons and countless halves, and teaches one of the area’s most challenging workout classes- CST (Cardio, Strengthen, Transform). In her spare time, Karen wakes up – often at 430ish-am – to get a run in before the day, is the King’s Highway PTA president, and can be found at Compo Beach or the Spotted Horse eating the spoon salad (every time)!

As the restaurant scene continues to expand in Westport, next up is The ‘Port. Hoping to be the community’s “go-to family restaurant where everyone knows your name”, The Port will feel local, be staffed by locals, and is funded by locals. The menu will offer comfort food at reasonable prices, appealing to adults and kids alike, and the scene will be casual, and a place you never want to leave. We all have wondered for years why this type of place doesn’t exist here – finally, some locals got it right!

If you have noticed Zyta-C in pharmacies in the area lately – an innovative product for general wellness (and fighting the common cold)- you may not have known it’s founders live here in Westport. Mom to 3, Amy and her husband Larry created and built the business for Zyta-C based on their own positive experience with the product (i.e., no colds in 5 years!). When she’s not working, Amy loves taking her kids to Mecha Noodle Bar (followed by a trip to MilkCraft), nights at Compo Beach, and laughing with her friends.
