Meet Iris!
Westport mom of three and founder of Noa Health and Acupuncture, Iris is a true superstar in every sense of the word. Growing up in places ranging from Houston, TX to Anchorage, Alaska, Iris loves to travel, as does her family, though local trips to Mystic and Stonington remain family favorites. For as long as she can remember, Iris has been focused on healing, and with her husband Jonathan’s ALS diagnosis late last year, she is as determined as ever. Through a combination of cutting edge breathing techniques and local events, including one at the new MoCA Westport on 10/17, Iris and her family are fighting for every day of healthy living they can get. Iris is a rock, often trying to find the bright side of even very challenging situations, and we are hopeful our community can rally around Iris and her family as they continue their own healing journey.

Meet Robyn
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and we are incredibly fortunate that Robyn – Weston mom of two and recent breast cancer survivor – has shared her story with us. It is a story about being pro-active, brave, vulnerable, and strong, while inspiring hope. Just over one year ago, Robyn’s life changed forever when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and her journey to come out on the other side (filled with chemotherapy, hair loss, multiple surgeries and more), would not have been what It was without exercise, her friends and family, and her own unrelenting drive to be a survivor. Robyn’s story is raw…It is scary…It is real. But It is also a story about gratitude and one that should remind us women – and us moms – to trust our gut, to make ourselves a priority, and to never, ever give up.

Jenna began blogging in 2013 (originally in NYC), after having 3 kids in 3 years, as an outlet that allowed her to connect with others while exploring her passions, namely fashion, skincare, and travel! Jenna loves Westport and meeting new people all the time, through work and her kids, though she admits to being inherently quite shy. Jenna has been an esthetician for 15 years, and in another life would likely own a MedSpa. If you notice someone around town with sunglasses and a hat most of the time, It may just be her, so say hi; she is thrilled to be part of this welcoming and vibrant community, and we’re lucky to have her.
