Join us for an inspirational evening with Zoleka Mandela, international speaker, author, two-time breast cancer survivor, granddaughter of Nelson Mandela and ambassador to the Global Access to Cancer Care Foundation. This unique event provides you the opportunity to make an impact in support of the women and children in Africa who do not have adequate access to cancer care.
A networking and engaging night to hear directly from Ms. Mandela’s voice of possibilities and triumph. Connect with other women who are passionately working to bring hope and change to the world.
This fundraiser is hosted by Tonya Steiner, Executive Director of Global Access to Cancer Care Foundation. GACCF is a global medical humanitarian non-profit that offers training, technology, access—and hope—where there was none before. GACCF implements and oversees training courses and workshops for physicians in low-and middle-income countries across the world to enhance cancer treatment through radiotherapy treatment. In these countries where resources are limited, pediatric cancer mortality is close to 80%. Whereas in high-income countries, childhood cancer mortality is approximately 20% of all cases. These are facts that we can change. Please join us in the effort to develop and empower human capital – physicians to save lives and beat cancer.
