Meet Sara Goff

Meet Sara Goff

If there was ever a time to know about the amazing work Sara Goff is doing, now is that time! Mom to two boys (6 and almost 12), Sara left the world of fashion in her late twenties to pursue two passions – writing and making a difference in the world. She has not only written a novel, but in 2019 she founded Bridging Minds Collective (BMC), an online, women-led organization that promotes political communication between ALL people. With a following of nearly 40,000, they are calling for unity today and now, and we are so grateful to Sara for creating such a necessary platform! In her spare time, Sara loves skiing and paddle boarding with her family, and would love to see a hip French Brasserie come to Westport! Thank you Sara for all you are doing – we look forward to all that’s ahead!

The predictability of these elements provides a sense of safety and security.  When we feel safe and secure, we are open to learning. Meet Haley Lieberman

Meet Haley Lieberman

Meet Haley Lieberman! Mom of three year old boy-girl twins, this momma lives and breathes her values day in and day out. A long time lover of all things fashion, an entrepreneur at heart, and a rockstar woman with a strong belief in sustainability and problem solving, Haley launched her own company – Shop Tomorrows – a parent-to-parent marketplace for getting top-notch preloved kids stuff this past summer. After years spent in costume design and styling on Broadway and with many celebrities, Haley was amazed by the tremendous waste when It came to apparel, and after having kids, saw an opportunity for reusing clothing there more than ever. She has now created a platform that is not only valuable, but clever, fun to use, and relatable to all moms out there! In her free time, her family loves taking hikes and playing with animals (in another life she may have been a farmer!), she can’t wait for a vintage store to come to Westport, and she is continually amazed by the next generation of kids so intent on changing the world for the better. Like them, she seeks to make positive change in the world, and is doing it in a way only superwoman Haley knows how!

This freezable dough uses up your Halloween candy, and you’re ready for any last minute bake sale request from school – win-win!

Squash Toast – Cold Weather YUMMMMMMMINESS!

Squash Toast – Cold Weather YUMMMMMMMINESS!

As the colder weather sets in, we wanted to share this Butternut Squash Toast from local mom and nutritionist, Robin Barrie! (We know that avocado gets the most glory on a regular basis.) Toast is a blank canvas that can be topped with a variety of items.  Plus, it’s a warm alternative to a cold sandwich or salad this time of year.  Butternut squash is in season and delish right now. It is a great source of carotenoids, which benefit healthy eyes and smooth skin….yummmmm!

10 Ways to Celebrate Halloween Safely

10 Ways to Celebrate Halloween Safely

Halloween is an annual rite of passage for kids. From the first time a new walker toddles up to trick or treat with his parents, to older kids finally being allowed to go door-to-door on their own—Halloween is as much a part of childhood as any holiday. Which makes it one of the hardest things to see our kids giving up this year (along with birthdays, graduations and more). That’s why we decided to compile some of the best ways we’ve heard of getting into the spooky season—safely.
