ZAHER MERHI – MD, FACOG, HCLD, Medical Director, CEO, Founder
Dr. Merhi is the founder and medical director of Rejuvenating Fertility Center (RFC). He is an internationally recognized fertility doctor, lecturer, editor, and grant reviewer. His training and faculty appointments included Albert Einstein College of Medicine, NYU School of Medicine, and University of Vermont. He is currently a Professor at SUNY Downstate University. He has three American Board certifications in OB/GYN, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and High-Complexity Laboratory Director (HCLD).
Dr. Merhi specializes in women with Low Ovarian Reserve (low AMH or high FSH), PCOS, and Advanced Maternal Age. His research focuses on technologies such as Ozone Sauna Therapy and PRP Ovarian Rejuvenation that aim to improve egg quality. He has incredibly high success rates using IVF with gentle stimulation. Dr. Merhi has been featured on CNN, The New York Times, Fox News, and MSNBC.
MELVIN H. THORNTON – MD, Director of Third Party Reproduction
Dr. Melvin H. Thornton, II is recognized as one of the world’s leading experts in egg donation and surrogacy. He is double board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility as well as Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Thornton received his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, completed his internship and residency at the University of Southern California, and received additional training in advanced reproductive surgery at The Cleveland Clinic. He joined the faculty at Columbia University where he served as Medical Director and Director of the Egg Donation Program at the Center for Women’s Reproductive Care (CWRC).
Dr. Thornton is a strong proponent of the LGBTQ community. His ultimate goal is to make it as easy as possible for men, women, and couples to have a baby, whether it’s through the use of egg donation, sperm donation, embryo donation, or using a gestational carrier (surrogacy).
