For as long as she can remember, Iris has been focused on healing, and with her husband Jonathan’s ALS diagnosis late last year, she is as determined as ever. Through a combination of cutting edge breathing techniques and local events, including one at the new MoCA Westport on 10/17, Iris and her family are fighting for every day of healthy living they can get. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and we are incredibly fortunate that Robyn – Weston mom of two and recent breast cancer survivor – has shared her story with us. It is a story about being pro-active, brave, vulnerable, and strong, while inspiring hope. Robyn’s story is raw…It is scary…It is real. But It is also a story about gratitude and one that should remind us women – and us moms – to trust our gut, to make ourselves a priority, and to never, ever give up.
