Mersene Norbom and Tanya Murphy, of Westport, furnished and decorated two rooms for the Bridgeport Rescue Mission’s Guest House for Women and Children. The Bridgeport Rescue Mission provides food, shelter, clothing, education, job training and a residential program for the urban poor and addicted. Learn about ways you can get involved at the Bridgeport Rescue mission such as their “Great Thanksgiving Project” or their “Not Your Average Christmas Party!”

Meet Cindy! Formally trained as an actress, chef, and teacher, Cindy Hartog and her daughter / business partner, Danielle make us all strongly consider “going Paleo.” After years teaching cooking to little kids, Cindy was diagnosed unexpectedly with an auto immune disease that fundamentally changed the way she cooked, ate and thought about food; it also entirely changed how she felt. A Westport mom of 3 grown kids, Cindy loves Paris, pink sumo, and can almost certainly make Vegan matcha ice cream sound like the most appealing food you’ve ever eaten!
