Children will delight in games, crafts, and food preparation using veggies straight from the gardens in this delightful and peaceful outdoor farm setting.
  • Jr. Farmers Camp (ages 7-10) – For kids who just want to get their hands dirty and experience what it is to be a real farmer. Learn about sustainable farming first-hand through planting and caring for a garden, feeding and caring for animals, including our alpaca chickens, goats and more. Campers will hunt for fresh eggs, delight in farm games, maker activities, and taste veggies straight from the gardens.
  • Green Teen Service Program (ages 11-14) This service-oriented teen apprentice program for is focused on fulfilling the Farm’s mission to serve the needs of the community while also giving your teen much-needed service hours required for college applications, National Honor Society applications and more. In this fun, feel-good program, teen participants will focus on planting, watering and harvesting vegetables that will then be donated to local food pantries, where the need is great. We will invite representatives from local receiving agencies to visit the Farm and talk about food insecurity in our area and how community volunteering changes lives. Once per session, we will cook up a nutritious meal for the residents of Westport’s Gillespie Center, incorporating the Farm’s organic produce. The teens will also run their own Farm stand.

TRIFITNESS KID’S TRIATHALON CAMP

• Description: The Trifitness Triathlon and Duathlon Camp is a 5 day, Monday to Friday program (9 am – 2 pm), designed to introduce kids aged 7 to 14 to the sport of triathlon & duathlon. Top triathletes and coaches will provide instruction on basic swimming, cycling and running techniques, bicycle safety and maintenance, transition and nutrition. Duathlon training and racing will be included. Lots of games will be offered too! The camp will culminate with a mini-triathlon and mini-duathlon.
