How old are your kids and how long have you lived in Westport? My daughter is 7 years old, and my son is 6 years old. We have lived in Westport since 2014.
What is your favorite family activity to do in Westport or the surrounding towns? I love getting the family out on the water and fishing around the Norwalk Islands.
What was your most memorable family vacation and why? Recently, we went to St. Kitts with my brother’s family and my parents. The kids were able to roam the resort, swim, be crafty, and I think I managed a good 15 minutes of relaxing/reading time. Win-win.
What is your proudest daddy moment? Teaching my kids how to make their own breakfast so my wife and I could sleep in. Also watching my kids read to each other.
What’s your favorite app or gadget right now? Gadget: Airpods. App: Serial Reader
What’s your favorite sport to play and/or watch (who do you root for?) And/or what’s your workout of choice? Football. I cheer for (with great futility) the New York Jets & Dallas Cowboys. I love jogging once or twice a year.
If you had 24 hours to do whatever you wanted – what would you do? This question is too unrealistic….
What’s your drink of choice? Cortado.
What is the one thing your spouse does that you are eternally grateful for? =) Her eternal sarcasm.
What is one piece of advice you would pass along to other dads OR what do you wish you could tell your younger self about being a father? I would tell myself it’s okay to reward good behavior with ice cream and chocolate; talking through ‘feelings’ with a 4 year old doesn’t work; and yes, it really is this hard.
How did you end up where you are now in terms of your job, or whatever passion project it is you might be doing? I found photography by accident, really. A small window of opportunity opened, and I took a chance. Luck, played a huge part. Ten years ago, I never would have predicted it.
