How old are your kids and how long have you lived in Westport? My husband, kids, and I have been in Westport since 2014, but we did sell our house during COVID and lived on a boat for three years. We’re back now (mostly). We have a 15 year old daughter and a son who turns 14 this month.
How did you end up where you are now in terms of your job, or whatever passion project it is you might be doing? Hah! I think most people probably know this one already, but my first job after college was working at Vogue as Anna Wintour’s assistant. I lasted a year before leaving to work at a different magazine, and I began taking a writing workshop at night. It was there The Devil Wears Prada was born, and the rest is history….

What is the last book you read? Like everyone else on planet earth, I recently read STRANGERS by Belle Burden. Her story is compelling, of course, but I was surprised and delighted by her writing, which I thought was just beautiful.
What is your favorite podcast? Hands down, no questions asked CALL ME BACK by Dan Senor. Haven’t missed a single episode since October 7, 2023.
What is one food you could not live without? Cheap, drugstore chocolate
What is one product you could not live without? Trentinoin. The holy grail!
What is your greatest indulgence? Uber Courier to run errands, pick up things the kids have forgotten, return stuff to stores. It’s not necessary per se, but it adds a lot of value to my life.
Which talent would you most like to have? I wish I could dance. Like, at all. But it is definitely not in the cards for me.
What is your favorite hobby? Tennis, reading, and nagging my family.
What is your go-to karaoke song? I do not karaoke. You’re welcome. But if I did, it would be a hair band from the 80’s.
What is your greatest extravagance? Our Bernese Mountain dog, Romeo. He was a fortune! And I know we should have adopted. But I love him so, so much.
When and where were you happiest? I’m happiest in the water, as long as it’s warm—a scalding hot bath, an uncomfortably warm pool, swimming in a tropical ocean.
What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you? I am a PADI Advanced Open Water diver, and I love love love both spearfishing and regular fishing.
