How old are your kids and how long have you lived in Westport? My son Uros is 17 and my daughter Lara is 7. We have lived in Westport for 6 years.
How did you end up where you are now in terms of your job, or whatever passion project it is you might be doing? My educational journey began more than 20 years ago with graduating with honors from the School of Medicine in Serbia to completing the Mount Sinai School of Medicine Residency Program in Internal Medicine. I was working initially as a Primary Physician at outpatient multispecialty clinic on the Upper East Side in NYC and as an Associate Attending Physician at Lenox Hill Hospital. Transition to Connecticut brought me to the Western Connecticut Medical Group, now Nuvance Health, where I worked as a Primary physician at the WCMG Clinic in Wilton.
The foundation of my current practice, Nova MD Wellness Clinic, is built on the principles of a warm environment, evidence-based care, and deep patient relationships. My primary goal is to ensure that each patient receives the highest quality medical care, emphasizing healing and making a positive difference in their lives. As an advocate for anti-aging, healthy food, and exercise, I loved to bring a holistic perspective to healthcare. I’m board certificated in Internal Medicine, hold Columbia University Certificate in Obesity Medicine, and fellow of the American Academy of Antiaging and Aesthetic Medicine School.
What is the best show you have recently (binge) watched? AND/OR what is the last book you read? I loved the movie From Scratch, enjoyed Secrets of the Blue Zones and just watched Perfect Couple which is perfect for the binge watching. I love Outlive; it’s the book I usually recommend to my patients as well.
What are two things still on your bucket list? My bucket list is still full. I would love to travel more. Going to Japan and exploring more of Europe are the two main things on my list.

What is one food you could not live without? I am always up for mediterranean food!
What is one product you could not live without? Tinted moisturizer and perfume
What is your greatest fear? Losing motivation

What’s a cause or purpose you deeply believe in? Disease Prevention and longevity
What is your favorite family tradition? Spending some time with family overseas and going to Greece on summer vacation
Which living person do you most admire? My mom. She is the best human in every way
What is your greatest extravagance? My husband I and love to travel.

If you weren’t doing what you are today, what might your career path might have been? I’m sure I would do something related to design and aesthetics
If you could travel to one place this next year, where would it be and why? I have been wanting to go to Paris, the most magical, romantic city
Are you a morning person, or a night owl? How does sleep fit into your life? I wake up early and go to bed very late. I am trying to work more on my sleep habits. There are not enough hours in a day to complete all the tasks a mom has.
What thing has surprised you most about being in the suburbs? I’m pleasantly surprised at how social this town is; there is always something to do!
What is the first thing you do when you walk in the door after a long day? Hug and kiss my family
