The Westport Downtown Merchants Association (WDMA) is excited to announce a new, safe and welcoming mini event on lower Main Street – its first Health and Fitness Expo on September 12th from 10am – 4pm. Its goal is to inspire and inform our community, as we all prepare for fall and winter. The WDMA is partnering with JoyRide, RowHouse, Pure Barre & Athleta to stage their live program classes outdoors on Main Street during the day.
The classroom workout spaces will be set up as exhibition areas – open for all the community to see as they visit Main Street, but sign ups for classes are done directly with the gyms. There will not be any walk up opportunities to take a class.
A small market of vendors will also be set up to highlight different health and fitness options for patrons. Masks, social distancing and wait line markings will be required, COVID-19 safety rules will be followed, and our number one aim is for you to feel safe and comfortable.
Be sure to check out additional health activities coordinated by merchants on Church Lane merchants. All safety requirements will be followed and everyone is expected to wear masks.
