WestportMoms wanted to know a little bit more about the amazing people working so hard to make so many of us feel relaxed – and beautiful! Here is a glimpse into what he learned!
Jennifer Efstathiou 
What is your role at NBW and how did you start doing what you are doing? I am the lead esthetician at the spa. I was a full- time makeup artist and consistently was asked questions regarding skincare which led me to shifting my focus entirely on helping people with the root of skin care concerns.
What makes NBW different from other places you have worked? At NB&W we treat the whole person. I’ve been practicing esthetics for 20 years and this is the first time I have worked in a place where we truly address all aspects of beauty and wellness.
What is one thing people might not know about you? I am an Energy Medicine Practioner and recently became Onocology trained in esthetics
What is your “can’t live without” beauty product? So hard to choose! But this season one of my favorites is Naturopathica’s Carrot Seed Soothing Facial Oil. It’s a calming blend of hydrating and soothing seed oils which prevent redness and create an anti-inflammatory response in the skin with Evening Primrose Seed Oil. Amie Barrett
What is your role at NBW, and how did you start doing what you are doing? I’m an esthetician. I struggled with acne after having my son and wanted the education and capabilities to be able to help others.
What makes NBW different from other places you have worked? I have primarily worked on the medical side of esthetics. NB&W not only offers cosmetic treatments, but also luxury spa and wellness services.
What is one thing people might not know about you? I recently became an Oncology trained esthetician and am passionately involved in supporting animal rescue.
What is your “can’t live without” beauty product? PCA’s Hyaluronic Acid Boosting Serum. Not only does it give my skin a smooth texture, but also gives me optimal hydration and a glow!
Laura Reidy- PA
What is your role at NBW, and how did you start doing what you are doing? I’m a PA (Physician’s Assistant). During my last year of PA school, I did a rotation and trained under the world renowned cosmetic team of Drs. Margaret and Robert Weiss. They exposed me to general dermatology, Botox and lasers.
What makes NBW different from other places you have worked? Concentrating solely on cosmetic medicine and the camaraderie of the staff.
What is one thing people might not know about you? I grew up on a 300 acre farm
What’s the most interesting thing you’ve ever learned from a client? Hearing the survival story of a Holocaust survivor
What is your “can’t live without” beauty product? Jane Iredale cream blush for my cheeks lips and eyes
Stephanie Mc Donaugh
What is your role at NBW & how did you start what you are doing? I am an Esthetician at NB&W. I became interested in Esthetics after dealing with my own issues with Melasma and Pigmentation issues. I wanted to learn how to help others overcome their issues and make every person feel and look beautiful.
How is NB&W different from other places you have worked? NB&W is warm, cozy, inviting in a gorgeous upscale setting. I truly love coming to work everyday. I work with an amazing group of very talented individuals.

What is your role at NBW, and how did you start doing what you are doing? I’m an Esthetician; in 2001, my career began, working at the Bellagio Resorts in Las Vegas.
What makes NBW different from other places you have worked? NBW is different than other places that I have worked because everyone is committed to wellness through healing. We provide the ultimate luxury experience combined with quality products, delivering optimum results.
What’s the most interesting thing you’ve ever learned from a client? The most interesting thing I learned was from one of my celebrity clients at the Bellagio. I discovered that even though it appears that they are not wearing makeup on screen, it is actually a tremendous amount! Their skin suffers in this process and they are incredibly humble.
What is your “can’t live without” beauty product? I can’t live without Environ’s Avance moisturizer because it plumps all my fine lines!
