On Sunday, October 1st, many people in Fairfield County (including WestportMoms!) will be at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk participating in the 3rd annual William Raveis Ride + Walk!
Some details are below:
– Registration starts at 7:15am
-Register to walk, ride or donate at www.raveisridewalk.com
-Participants choose between a 5k walk, 12-mile, 25-mile or 50-mile bike ride
-Participants must raise or donate a minimum of $250
-Post event celebration includes food, entertainment, 100-yard kids dash and other activities for children
-100% of donations go to the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation; Damon Runyon funds top emerging cancer researchers and they promise 100% of the money they receive goes directly to research.
-$1 million rasied in first two years
