Before we tell you more about the amazing amenities, we want to touch on the history of the hotel. The Lloyd inherits its name from a prominent local businessman in the 1700’s, John Lloyd. Mr. Lloyd owned a General Store across the street from the hotel in what now fondly known as Mill River Park. John Lloyd had reputation for supporting local businesses, building a strong sense of community, and imparting kindness on strangers. The Lloyd strives to simply carry on the deep local tradition of extending a hospitable hand to neighbors and newbies alike.
