Driving around town, you may have begun to notice many new “Hate has no home” signs on lawns, at street corners, and at busy intersections. Not long ago, a Bedford middle school teacher decided to bring a “Hate has no home” campaign from Chicago here to Westport and the surrounding communities, recognizing it’s importance, and the impact even a small town can make.
Westportmoms is a huge supporter of the movement, and has been encouraging people to send pictures of themselves (or their kids) holding these signs up so we can continue spreading the word!
News 12 had a great story on the origins of this local movement today which can be viewed here.
