The Parks & Recreation Department’s “Kickoff to Summer”

The Westport Parks and Recreation Department would like to invite you to join us this upcoming Saturday, June 13th, 2026, for a Kickoff to Summer Event at Compo Beach. The event will be held from 11:00am- 3:00pm for fun family activities including food trucks, touch a truck, bouncy houses, climbing walls, face painting, raffle prizes, and more!

This event helps Parks and Recreation showcase many of our program offerings and services, so come down and take a look!

Additionally, we will host the unveiling of the new mural installation created by current Staples student, and Westport local, Luke Bernier. We also thank the Westport Arts Advisory and the Artists Collective on their extensive contributions. Please join us at 10am to congratulate Luke on his accomplishment.

Please be advised that all attendees will need a beach emblem in order to park at the beach. Walk in’s welcome.

We would love to have you join our summer fun; we just ask that you leave your furry friends at home.
