CT Audobon Society

  • Description: The Connecticut Audubon Society’s summer camps at the Center at Fairfield and the Coastal Center in Milford, are state licensed summer camps, offering both full- and half-day sessions in unique learning environments. Campers attend week-long, science and nature-themed programs that inspire and build a life-long connection to the natural world, and an understanding of the need to preserve it. Full-and half-day Junior Counselor volunteer positions are also available.  Whether in the woodlands and meadows of the Fairfield Larsen Sanctuary, or the marshes, beaches and tidal pools of the Milford Coastal Center, campers explore and investigate nature’s riddles, learn about habitats, develop outdoor skills and meet live animals. All camp programs are led by teacher-naturalist and college-educated staff with experience in education and/or science, plus training in first aid, CPR and Epi-Pen use. The high staff-to-camper ratio ensures all campers a safe, educational and enjoyable camp experience. Options include before care, after care (Milford only), as well as lunch bunch for half-day sessions.

Sara Holland Sports Camp
