Looking for a summer sports camp where your kid can improve their swing and develop their love for the game at a premier golf resort? Now in its 50th year, Youth Golfari is the perfect blend of great golf with all of the fun summer activities that make for an unforgettable experience.
Located in the beautiful Sandhills of North Carolina, campers experience endless adventures and form lifelong friendships all while learning solid fundamentals of the game on one of the top four courses in North Carolina. The energizing atmosphere found only at Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club will foster both lasting memories and a passion for the game.
Found only at Pine Needles, a Golfari is a unique adventure that strikes the perfect balance between learning the game, playing the game and relaxing in the company of friends, old and new. Developed by the legendary Peggy Kirk Bell in 1969, Youth Golfari (youth ages 9-16) provides expert instruction from former LPGA and PGA Tour players from morning to early afternoon.
Then, it’s swimming, tennis, water slides, food, a talent show and sheer entertainment till lights out. It’s a tradition that campers enjoy year after year, and pass down to their children when the time comes. Just ask camp director Peggy Miller who started as a camper herself when she was 10 years old. She’s attended the camp every year since, as a kid, a counselor and then the director, and carries out the importance of making every kid feel at home away from home, whether it’s their first time sleeping away from home or their back for their 5th year.
From the moment Golfari explorers arrive on the secure grounds of Pine Needles, they are treated like members of the family. They can have a fun and carefree week, and so can you. Make your kids’ summer unforgettable with a week-long Youth Golfari. Request more information or visit the website.
