Keep Harbor Watch Afloat with A New Boat & Help Keep Our Waterways Clean

Help replace a 30-year-old boat used for harbor-based research and education programs throughout Fairfield County!

Harbor Watch (HW) at Earthplace is a non-profit working to protect the Long Island Sound estuary and the waters that feed it. After 30 years, their trusted old research boat, the “Annie” has retired, and we need to keep Harbor Watch afloat! This year, all funds raised at our annual Cocktails & Clams event will help the team acquire a new custom boat that will be used for harbor-based research and education programs throughout Fairfield County.

The team also produces annual monitoring reports highlighting seasonal physical, chemical, and biological trends to evaluate ecosystem health which are used by local municipalities and the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to address pollution issues in our waterways.
