Who says your dancing days are over? DUDs has your back! - Westport Moms

Who says your dancing days are over? If Dirty Dancing was one of your favorite movies – or you just want to live vicariously through your kids, check out Double Up Dance Studio – the area’s newest hot spot for kids (and adult!) classes, parties, and more!
On January 8, 2017, Paul and Brian Herman – brothers with a lifelong passion and talent for dance – opened a brand new, state of the art, 4,500 sq ft Double Up Dance Studio (DUDS) adjacent to their old studio at The Sportsplex in downtown Fairfield. With three studios and more than 35 classes a week, Double Up Dance Studio now offers a variety of dance and fitness classes for adults and children of all levels. There are classes designed for beginners with absolutely no dance experience as well as classes for professional dancers. Styles range from Hip Hop, Dancehall, Reggaeton, Latin, and Contemporary to fitness classes such as Cardio Blast, Cardio Dance Party, and Hip Hop Yoga. By providing high-quality instruction in an unintimidating atmosphere, DUDS creates a welcoming and fun environment for “movers” of all levels.
This new studio is the direct result of their tremendous success with their smaller studio, which opened in September, 2014. Their mission was always to further enrich the lives of the community and brighten the future of today’s youth by influencing them through dance and fitness. At DUDS the diverse, highly accomplished professional instructors are passionately committed to helping students achieve their personal dance and fitness goals.
In addition to classes, the studio hosts children and adult parties and the space can be rented out for events. Paul and Brian really are two of the most talented and nicest people you will ever meet. Check out their website http://doubleupdancestudio.com/ and go experience DUDS for yourself. Once you step into this warm, inviting, fun, motivating venue you will never want to leave.

More about Paul and Brian: Paul and Brian Herman are brothers who grew up dancing together in the streets of the South Bronx. Their passion and drive at a young age led them from performing on local community stages in the Bronx to worldwide stages across the world. They have shared the stage and collaborated with iconic artists such as Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Chris Brown, Eve, Rick Ross, Swizz Beatz, Kat Deluna, Sean Paul, Lil Wayne, and Flo Rida. Throughout all their success as performers, Paul and Brian maintained their focus to inspire younger generations by providing instruction through their dance company, master classes/workshops, summer camps, and now here in Fairfield at Double Up Dance Studio.
In addition to running their amazing studio, Paul & Brian also work tirelessly to enrich the lives of those who do not have the means to express themselves through dance. They founded Move to Succeed, an outreach program in inner city schools and community centers, and have provided inspiration, scholarships, mentorships, education, and opportunities to inner city youth. It has been extremely important to them to help others and provide a safe, supportive environment for children and teens in our nearby, inner cities.
